11th ATHİB Woven Fabric Design Competition

11th ATHİB Woven Fabric Design Competition Mediterranean Textile and Raw Materials Exporters Association (ATHİB) is preparing to deliver a magical and exciting evening at the 11th edition of the Woven Fabric Design Competition. The 11th final of the ATHİB Woven Fabric Design Competition, which demonstrates the value of woven fabrics and creates a free and creative spirit for aspiring and professional designers, will take place on 2 December 2022 at Hilton Adana Hotel. AKİB's 2021 Adana Export Champions and ATHİB's 2021 Export Champions Award Ceremony will be followed by a fashion show and award ceremony where the winners of the Woven Fabric Design Competition will be determined by jury members. Prior to the final presentation of the competition, the Export Champions Award Ceremony will announce the top 10 companies with the highest exports from Adana province in 2021 through AKİB and the top 10 companies with the highest exports in 2021 through ATHİB, with plaques presented to the companies. T.C. Minister of Trade Dr. Mehmet Muş, Adana Governor Dr. Süleyman Elban, TİM Chairman Mustafa Gültepe, Adana Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeydan Karalar, ATHİB Board Chairman Fatih Doğan, ATHİB Board Vice Chairman & ATHİB Woven Fabric Design Competition Executive Committee Chairman Zeki Kıvanç and sector representatives will attend. The coordination and consulting for the competition, where valuable and spectacular designs will be showcased on the podium to guide the future with great effort, will be managed by Nuray Er Bıyıklı, project design coordination by Özlem Kaya, and artistic direction and choreography by Yasin Soy.  

Who Will Win the Grand Prize?

At the final night and award ceremony where designers' dreams compete, finalists deemed deserving of placement by jury members will receive monetary prizes of TRY 100,000 for 1st place, TRY 75,000 for 2nd place, and TRY 50,000 for 3rd place, and will be offered two years of education abroad following evaluation by the Ministry of Trade. All finalists who qualify for placement will receive a Desktop Armored Weaving Loom and will have the opportunity to participate in an International Textile Fair accompanied by an academic member from their university.

The ATHİB 11th Woven Fabric Design Competition is a competition organized by the Mediterranean Textile and Raw Materials Exporters Association (ATHİB) in the field of woven fabrics, supporting young designers through creative and innovative designs.
