Üçay Mühendislik Steps Up Sustainable Growth Push Toward 2026

Üçay Mühendislik, which contributes to the circular economy through its activities in energy, electromechanics, air conditioning and e-mobility, is targeting threefold growth in residential-type solar power plant (GES) projects in 2026, while planning to commission 350 new electric vehicle charging stations. The company, which has taken on major new projects in electromechanical solutions for large-scale residential, hotel and defense industry applications, is also continuing its efforts toward the goal of owning a licensed solar power plant.

The company, which has undertaken major projects for large-scale residential buildings, hotels and the defence industry in electromechanical solutions, is continuing its efforts toward the goal of owning a licensed solar power plant.

Completed solar power plants provided carbon savings equivalent to the annual cleaning effect of 5.1 million trees
Noting that they completed the installation of solar power plants with a total installed capacity of 69.25 MW in a period as short as one and a half years, Şakacı stated: "These plants prevented 107,000 tons of carbon emissions. This impact is equivalent to the annual cleaning capacity of 5.1 million trees, preventing the use of more than 34,000 tons of fossil fuel, removing 23,000 vehicles from traffic, the clean air effect provided by a forest the size of 7,300 football fields, and meeting the electricity needs of 46,000 households with clean energy instead of coal."
Target of more than threefold growth in residential solar energy projects
Emphasizing that they have targets for growth of more than three times in residential solar power plant projects, Turan stated that they completed approximately 100 residential solar power plant projects throughout 2025 and aim to increase this number to 300 new residential projects in 2026. Noting that they want to be among the leading companies in the renewable energy sector, Turan explained that they have targets to own a licensed solar power plant and are closely following YEKA auctions accordingly.
Target of 350 new electric vehicle charging stations by end of 2026
Drawing attention to strong growth plans in the e-mobility sector, Turan Şakacı said: "As of 2025, we have over 100 electric vehicle charging stations. Through this infrastructure, 595,000 kWh of electricity is delivered annually, while approximately 268 tons of CO₂ emissions were prevented. This environmental benefit is equivalent to the annual cleaning capacity of 26,800 trees and preventing the consumption of approximately 116,000 litres of petrol. With our Elaris brand, we aim to bring 350 new electric vehicle charging stations into service by the end of 2026. This step will increase our current network by more than three times, providing significant capacity growth in Turkey's rapidly developing e-mobility ecosystem and supporting sustainable transport while contributing to minimising environmental impacts."
