Tekno Kauçuk Continues to Grow

Since 1959, Tekno Kauçuk has succeeded in meeting customer expectations at the highest level, and parallel to its restructuring process in 2001, it has set its vision as a leading company that provides 'creativity, speed and flexibility' in specialized fields and produces new products and technology. Our company is certified by DQS and holds quality management systems ISO TS 16949, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 27001, which are required by these sectors. We export 60% of our production to various countries worldwide across a wide geography including Germany, the United States, France, United Kingdom, China, Morocco and Romania. Our company operates primarily in the Automotive sector as well as in White Goods and Defense Industry sectors. In our central factory established on 17,000 m² in Gebze Organized Industrial Zone, in addition to automotive products such as rubber-metal anti-vibration parts and cable harness grommets, we produce advanced engineering products, mainly for use in military projects. In this scope, we also have technical infrastructure capable of developing new products with our specialized engineering staff. Additionally, our Shock and Vibration Test Center, which is established in this facility and began operations in 2013, addresses the sector's needs.

Among our automotive customers are VW, Audi, Skoda, ZF, ThyssenKrupp, Yazaki and Delphi. Within the scope of Defense Industry, we work with sector leaders such as Aselsan, Roksetsan and Tai, in addition to specialized and military shipyards.

In 2011, an additional factory was established in Manisa Mid-Scale Industrial Zone, where we currently produce washing machine tubs and black bellows hose for the White Goods sector. This was the company's first satellite facility application. Among our customers are Vestel and Electrolux. Another facility of ours established on 5,200 m² in TOSB Organized Industrial Zone is our Membrane Factory, where cloth-reinforced and high-pressure diaphragms are produced, primarily for pneumatic brake systems. In this direction, we serve Wabco, Knorr Bremse and Arfesan. Turkey's fourth factory is the Düzce Mixing facility in Kaynaşlı, which is currently being completed. Taking market needs into account, the Düzce Mixing facility, equipped with state-of-the-art machinery, will begin production and mixing sales in July. With this facility investment, we will strive to serve all sectors requiring technical mixing needs with the highest quality standards. Specialized European suppliers have been selected for all machinery, equipment and automation companies to meet the products required by the sector. With a capacity of 26,000 tonnes/year, both black and colored mixes will be produced in this facility, and the mixing facility has been designed to accommodate expansion to 2 production lines. There is a comprehensive incoming quality control laboratory for raw material approvals and all necessary test equipment for production control. Additionally, 60 years of experience and among Europe's select mixing development test equipment will be located at the Gebze facility, and all mixing development activities will be conducted here by trained and experienced engineers. Our mixing laboratory, beyond our own needs, continues operations at full pace to provide R&D and testing services to external customers. In this direction, our shock and vibration test center together with our mixing laboratory completed the accreditation process from Türkak in accordance with TS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2012 standard as of October 2016, and entered among Turkey's select rubber laboratories.
