Sun Chemicals Publishes 2019 Sustainability Report

The report explains the importance Sun Chemical places on sustainability in developing, manufacturing and distributing its products, while also demonstrating how the company works with customers and suppliers to enhance sustainability targets. The 2019 report shares key research and development topics and Sun Chemical's contributions to a more sustainable future, for example:

• A long-term strategic target to reduce production CO₂ levels by at least 30% by 2030,
• Waste reduction programs focused on improving the use of incoming materials, promoting recycling and optimizing the end-of-life of a product or material,
• A silver corporate social responsibility rating from EcoVadis, a third-party organization measuring various categories including environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement,
• Partnerships with various industry associations and consortiums focused on large-scale sustainability targets,
• Products developed with bio-renewable raw materials,
• Solutions designed to improve PET bottle recycling and composting.
