Industrial digitalization pioneer Siemens has brought artificial intelligence and data analytics to the center of manufacturing through the digital transformation project implemented at BSH Home Appliances' Çerkezköy campus in Turkey. Siemens Industrial Edge technology integrated into BSH Turkey's plastic tub manufacturing process for washing machines has delivered striking results in terms of sustainability, efficiency and quality.
Siemens has brought artificial intelligence and data analytics to manufacturing processes through the digital transformation project launched at BSH Home Appliances' Çerkezköy campus in Turkey. Siemens Industrial Edge technology integrated into the plastic tub production line at the BSH Çerkezköy Washing Machine Factory has delivered impressive results across multiple areas, from sustainability to efficiency and quality management. The "Production Control Tower" developed with an EdgeAI-based system has enabled real-time analysis of data collected from the field, anomaly detection performed through artificial intelligence algorithms, and performance comparisons between machines performing the same production. All these new processes were integrated in just one year without stopping the production line, with a flexible and secure architecture.

Models developed with historical data increase system accuracy by enabling proactive preventive measures.
