Semperit Acquires RICO Group

Semperit Acquires RICO Group Semperit AG Holding announced that it has reached an agreement with the owners of RICO Group GmbH, based in Upper Austria, on the acquisition of the group. RICO Group's portfolio encompasses injection mold production, component development consulting, and series production of specialized components. RICO Group focuses on processing elastomers, particularly liquid silicone and solid silicone, with components manufactured through single, dual, or multi-component injection molding. The transaction financing is secured through the Semperit Group's liquidity position and newly negotiated existing bank financing. Implementation of the transaction, expected for the third quarter of 2023, is subject to legal approval. Source
