Schneider Electric Maintains Strong Position in Global ESG Indices

Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy technology, has been recognized once again by global organizations working in the field of environmental, social and governance (ESG) for the strength, consistency and long-term reliability of its sustainability performance.

Schneider Electric achieved strong results in World Benchmarking Alliance (WBA) assessments, which cover approximately 2,000 selected companies globally on an invitation-only basis. The company ranked 1st in the Social Benchmark and 3rd in the Gender Benchmark. These results point to leading performance in areas such as decent work practices, ethics, representation, compensation and benefits, and prevention of violence and harassment. Schneider Electric was also one of only nine companies worldwide to receive an 'A' rating globally under WBA's ACT Core methodology, which demonstrates the company's capacity to effectively implement carbon transformation.

The company earned a Platinum medal in the EcoVadis assessment with a score of 87 out of 100 and ranked in the top 1 percent globally among all companies evaluated for the sixth consecutive year.

Schneider Electric was re-included in the Global 100 Most Sustainable Companies index prepared by Corporate Knights, reinforcing its position among companies that stand out globally with their environmental practices.

Additionally, Schneider Electric was recognized with the "Best Communication in Sustainability" award at the IR Society Awards for its transparent, consistent and forward-looking ESG communication in sustainability, which strengthens investor confidence and long-term resilience. More recently, the company was included in Fortune's "World's Most Admired Companies™ 2026" list, once again demonstrating its strong reputation among senior executives, board members and analysts for its strategic implementation strength, leadership approach and long-term vision.

Over the past five years, Schneider Electric's sustainability strategy has been guided by the Schneider Sustainability Impact (SSI) program, which sets measurable targets in the areas of climate, resources, security and equal opportunities. This program, covering the 2021–2025 period, supported the company's ambitious sustainability targets. Through this approach, Schneider Electric was twice named 'World's Most Sustainable Company' by both Corporate Knights and Time Magazine and Statista.
