Schneider Electric Named World's Most Sustainable Company for Second Time

Schneider Electric, a leader in digital transformation in energy management and automation, has won the title of World's Most Sustainable Company for 2025 as announced by Corporate Knights and became the only company to rank first in the Global 100 index twice.

Schneider Electric first appeared at the top of this annual list in 2021, which includes publicly listed companies with annual revenues exceeding 1 billion dollars that demonstrate the highest sustainability performance. This unique achievement underscores Schneider Electric's long-term commitment to delivering the best environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance and its holistic approach.

Schneider Electric CEO Olivier Blum stated, "Sustainability has been at the centre of our work for many years. As an IMPACT company, this is not merely a corporate target for us; it is a fundamental force that guides our business decisions and motivates our employees," and continued: "Winning the title of World's Most Sustainable Company by Corporate Knights for the second time, together with our other significant ESG achievements, is a strong indicator of the meaningful long-term impact we are creating."

Schneider Electric's first-place ranking this year reflects the company's leadership in sustainable development practices. Gender equality at senior management and board member levels, as well as innovative solutions that facilitate energy efficiency, electrification and the reduction of carbon emissions, are among the factors reinforcing this leadership. Schneider Electric also received high scores for its efforts to decouple energy consumption and carbon emissions from business growth and for its investments in sustainable research and development.

Corporate Knights CEO Toby Heaps emphasized that Schneider Electric's position at the top of the Global 100 index is an extraordinary achievement, noting that no other company has achieved this twice before.
