Rönesans Enerji, one of Turkey's three largest green energy companies, won three separate awards at the Project Finance Awards 2025 and Achievement Awards 2025, organized by EMEA Finance, a prestigious organization in international finance.
Rönesans Enerji received the "Best Renewable Energy Deal" award for its innovative unlicensed renewable energy investments in Turkey, the "Best M&A Renewables Deal in EMEA" award for the acquisition of Gökçedağ Enerji, and the "Achievement Award" for the Alaçam Enerji refinancing transaction.
With this success, Rönesans Enerji has demonstrated not only its growth in renewable energy investments, but also its expertise in project development, investment management and financing on an international scale.
"We take pride in our capabilities being recognized internationally"
Emre Hatem, Board Member of Rönesans Holding and Head of Energy Group, noted that financing and operational expertise in the energy sector has become increasingly critical.
Emre Hatem said:
"In the energy sector, it is no longer just about how much capacity you have, but also how you finance that capacity, how you manage it and how prepared you are for future energy systems. Being recognized with three different awards across two separate award programs by EMEA Finance is an important indicator that Rönesans Enerji's investment development, financing and operational capabilities are appreciated on an international scale. In particular, transactions such as the acquisition of Gökçedağ Enerji and the refinancing of Alaçam Enerji demonstrate that our growth strategy is based not only on new investments, but also on value-creating financial and strategic steps."

Installed capacity increased 3.5 times in two years
Noting that they will continue to play an active role in Turkey's energy transition, Hatem shared the following information about the company's growth targets:
"As of today, we have reached 577 MW of installed capacity. Two years ago, our installed capacity was at 166 MW, which we increased by approximately 3.5 times in a short period. However, for us, it is not only about growing, but also about ensuring reliable and sustainable energy production. We aim to create a more flexible and reliable energy infrastructure with storage technologies, hybrid systems and digital solutions."
Hatem stated that Rönesans Enerji targets reaching 1,000 MW of installed capacity in 2027 and 2,000 MW in 2028, and added that they will continue to contribute to Turkey's energy transition with global knowledge and strong access to financing.
A strong success on an international scale
This success in EMEA Finance award programs, where projects of international financial institutions, investment banks and energy companies are evaluated, demonstrates Rönesans Enerji's growth performance in renewable energy as well as its expertise in investment development, acquisition and financing processes.
The company continues to contribute to Turkey's sustainable energy future through investments supporting energy transition and innovative financing models.
