Eximbank to Introduce Restructuring for Plastic Bag Manufacturers

PAGEV hosted its members and sector representatives at a traditional iftar dinner held at Istanbul Congress Center. The iftar, which also featured the graduation ceremony of students from Gebze and Küçükçekmece PAGEV Vocational and Technical Anatolian High Schools, was marked by good news from Eximbank mentioned in PAGEV Chairman Yavuz Eroğlu's remarks. Eroğlu stated that Eximbank would restructure the debts of plastic bag manufacturers. This resolved an issue that PAGEV had raised since the beginning of the year regarding the paid plastic bag application. The event organized by PAGEV was attended by Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (İTO) Chairman Şekib Avdagiç, Provincial Director of National Education Levent Yazıcı, major players in the chemistry, plastics and recycling sectors, representatives from civil society organizations, and numerous guests from various institutions and organizations supporting the sector.
