Chemical Applications
Polypropylene
It exhibits superior resistance properties against many chemicals. Polypropylene (PP) demonstrates relatively high mechanical and tensile strength, but notch impact resistance is comparatively low. PP can be welded due to its structural properties. Electrical resistance properties are excellent. Its low density makes it economical. Polypropylene consists of two types: homopolymer (PP-H) and copolymer (PP-C).Operating Temperatures

Its resistance to many chemicals, particularly strong acids, has made it a preferred material for such applications. PVC is among materials that can be welded and bonded due to its structural properties. Compared to other materials in its group, its low temperature resistance (60°C) and high density are disadvantages. It has non-flammability properties (does not ignite when exposed to flame and withdrawn). Electrical arc resistance is good.Operating Temperatures

It belongs to the group of materials with high chemical resistance. It has a low coefficient of friction and is a slippery material. Moisture absorption is near zero. Polyethylene is divided into types within itself. The type is determined by the length of its molecules (molecular weight) and molecular length defines wear resistance. • PE 300-HD (Easy to weld), • PE 500-HMW, • PE 1000-UHMW (High wear resistance), • PE 1000 Reg. (black and green only). High molecular weight is directly proportional to high wear resistance. (UHMW exhibits the highest resistance.)Operating Temperatures
Between +90°C and -150°C (PE1000)PVDF / Polyvinylidene Fluoride
It is a very special member of the fluorinated polymer family. Generally, it is preferred in high temperature applications (+150°C) containing solvents, acids, and bases that require mechanical strength.
