Kimpur Included in the BIST Sustainability Index

Kimpur has taken its place in the BIST Sustainability Index, which comprises publicly traded companies distinguished by their sustainability performance. Evaluated by Refinitiv and benchmarked against global public companies on environmental and social performance, the company ranked 104th among approximately 500 chemical firms worldwide. Drawing attention with a score of 75 points in the environment category, Kimpur once again demonstrated its achievements in sustainability. Emphasizing the importance of sustainability as a business practice and responsibility toward future generations, Kimpur is assuming a pioneering role as a company that protects nature and bears social responsibility. Operating on the principle that sustainable growth is not possible without creating value in environmental and societal terms, the company was admitted to the Sustainability Index created by Borsa Istanbul based on the sustainability efforts of companies listed in the BIST 100 Index. The company demonstrated performance well above the minimum 40 points required across the environmental, social and governance categories for the index, raising its overall score to approximately 70 points. The company, whose Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy was also evaluated, achieved an A+ performance rating with 91 points. This high CSR strategy score reflects the company's properly directed strategy on sustainability and social responsibility. Demonstrating once again that it has placed sustainability at the center of its business strategy, Kimpur is setting high standards in environmental, social and governance matters, aiming to create long-term value for its stakeholders. While strengthening our environmental commitments with ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Certification, we support our environmentally friendly practices through solar power plants at our Gebze and Düzce facilities. In our production processes, we further increase our sustainability efforts by using renewable products that will contribute to the circular economy. By closely following international projects on recycling and working with domestic and international partners, we are advancing our work in this area. Our new LEED-certified office crowns our company culture by blending environmental awareness with our business practices. Furthermore, bringing a fresh perspective to the sustainability reporting we have published since 2020, in the integrated report we released this year, we addressed all our functions and our impacts on stakeholders in an integrated manner," she stated.
