Kaleseramik R&D Center Receives International Accreditation

Kaleseramik, the first Turkish company to obtain Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) certificates for all its product groups while maintaining respect for people and the environment, has received accreditation for its R&D Center Laboratories by TÜRKAK. Turkey's sole accreditation service provider in the field of conformity assessment, the Turkish Accreditation Board (TÜRKAK), has accredited Kaleseramik's R&D Center Laboratories. Kaleseramik, which obtained the TS EN ISO 17025 - Laboratory Competence Certificate with international validity from TÜRKAK in January 2019, had its accredited scope expanded as of 23 June 2020. With the new accreditation, the ceramic final product tests, wastewater and raw material chemical analysis results conducted by Kaleseramik R&D Center Laboratories will have validity at national and international levels. Kaleseramik, which strengthens its leading role in the sector through robust R&D activities and laid the foundations of today's R&D through systematic research and development work initiated in 1973, pursues numerous projects with a focus on sustainability and innovation; including waste prevention, material and process improvements from raw material to finished product, and design and development of innovative products that will lead the industry.
