Enerjisa Enerji to Generate Energy for 2,198 Households

Enerjisa Energy, which has implemented many solar power plant (SPP) projects, has now completed one of the largest SPP projects on land owned by a municipality in partnership with Eyüpsultan Municipality. The plant, which uses a total of 10,244 solar panels, will generate energy equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of 2,198 households. Enerjisa Energy has been implementing renewable energy applications under the Business Energy umbrella since 2018. This time, Business Energy, which features energy efficiency applications and green energy certification products, joined forces with Eyüpsultan Municipality for its prominent SPP solution. With an installed capacity of 5.6 MWp, the project will be one of the largest SPP investments on land owned by a municipality and is expected to generate approximately 6,594 MWh of energy annually. Additionally, this project will prevent approximately 4,274 tons of carbon emissions within one year, thereby contributing to the protection of nature. In this project, which will be one of Istanbul's largest land-based SPP projects, 10,244 solar panels will be used, and the expected energy generation will be equivalent to the annual consumption of 2,198 households. Thus, it will contribute to the sustainability goals of our country in the Paris Climate Agreement signed last year. The opening ceremony of the SPP project was attended by Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Abdullah Tancan, Istanbul Member of Parliament Süleyman Soylu, Eyüpsultan Mayor Deniz Köken, and senior executives of Enerjisa Energy.
