DYO's Dilovası and Çiğli Plants Receive "Zero Waste Certificate"
DYO, one of Turkey's leading paint manufacturers, creates differentiation through high-technology products. Since its establishment, DYO has carried out production with environmental awareness and demonstrates an environmentally responsible approach. In today's conditions where respect for nature and the environment, hygiene and cleanliness have become priorities, DYO appears to be placing greater emphasis on zero-waste activities. In this context, DYO began implementing the "Zero Waste" regulation in July 2019.
DYO conducts comprehensive work on waste management. With the environmental risk map it has created, it regularly carries out periodic inspections according to risk levels.
Setting targets for waste reduction, DYO established a working team on zero waste. By meeting the needs it identified on this matter, the company accelerated progress in zero-waste management.
To increase awareness on this specific subject, the company provided special training to its employees and developed good practice examples.
Within the scope of the Zero Waste Regulation, DYO implemented a Zero Waste System with the goal of eliminating single-use products and sorting waste at source. DYO's Dilovası and Çiğli Plants succeeded in obtaining the "Zero Waste Certificate."
Developing environmentally responsible business processes, DYO plans and implements all its activities with the awareness that it is responsible to the environment and society, and pursues this with a sustainability approach.
