Baymak Commissions New Boiler Production Line

Baymak, a leader in innovative product technologies in the air conditioning sector, has commissioned a new boiler production line that strengthens its manufacturing infrastructure. Within the scope of this investment, aimed at making Turkey operations a strategic production hub for BDR Thermea Group, capacity and technology in the production of both non-enameled and enameled tanks have been significantly increased.

Baymak, reinforcing its production experience spanning over half a century with strong R&D and product development investments, has commissioned a new production line designed for sustainability-focused manufacturing, particularly for the production of boilers compatible with heat pump systems. This new manufacturing infrastructure, designed to provide high efficiency and energy savings, has been structured in alignment with the company's net-zero carbon emission reduction targets. The facility opening took place on 4 March 2026 with the participation of BDR Thermea Group executives visiting to examine Turkey operations in person and supporting Baymak's strategic role within the group, as well as Baymak senior management.

Turkey to Become Strategic Hub in Boiler Production
The new production line is notable for its high level of automation, digital traceability and data-based quality control infrastructure. Every stage of production can be monitored in real time; processes are managed in a more controlled, efficient and sustainable manner. In this way, production capacity is increased while operational efficiency is brought to top levels. With this investment, Baymak is not only expanding its physical capacity but also advancing its technological transformation to a higher stage. With the new line, higher capacity and efficiency targets are aimed for in the production of both TB – non-enameled tanks and T – enameled tanks. The investment strengthens Baymak's product portfolio for renewable energy solutions while also strategically reinforcing Turkey's production role within BDR Thermea Group.

Global Expertise, Local Production
Baymak General Manager Ülkü Özcan, commenting on this investment, emphasized that this investment is more than just a production line, stating: "By combining the global knowledge accumulated by BDR Thermea Group's R&D centers located on three continents with our manufacturing capacity, we are investing in technologies that contribute to the energy transition. In line with our 2030 medium-term strategy, investments focused on transformation, efficiency and sustainability will continue. The new boiler production line we have commissioned under this scope will strengthen our production capacity and technological infrastructure while also contributing to our achievement of a stronger position in boiler production."
