BASF Plastic Additives Middle East Appoints New General Manager for Bahrain
BASF Plastic Additives Middle East (PAME), which operates the most advanced production facility in Bahrain for custom antioxidant blends (CSB), has appointed Michael Wille as its new general manager.
The appointment marks an important step in BASF's support for the rapidly growing polymer sector in the Middle East. As the leading manufacturer and supplier of plastic additives in the region, BASF plans to continue increasing local production of CSBs—custom-made additive blends that meet customer-specific requirements. CSBs form an integral part of the company's product portfolio for the plastics sector.
Frank Fasdernes, Vice President and head of BASF's Performance Chemicals operating division in the Middle East, welcomed Wille with the following remarks: "We are pleased that Michael Wille is taking on the position of General Manager in Bahrain. His engineering expertise and leadership capabilities, coupled with his strengths, will drive the company's continued growth in this high-potential region and beyond. His well-deserved appointment is the result of BASF's sustained efforts in global expansion, which we have demonstrated continuously since 2002."
