Within the scope of the "From Earth to Earth Biodegradable Waste Management" project conducted under the coordination of Agricultural Credit Cooperative and Yüreğir Municipality, food waste collected from the 5th International Adana Flavor Festival and marketplace areas was converted into compost.
Food waste generated from the festival, held this year under the theme "geography is flavor," and from marketplaces was collected at the Yüreğir Municipality Biodegradable Waste Area. Yüreğir Mayor Fatih Mehmet Kocaispir, emphasizing their intention to make Adana a pioneer city in recycling, said: "The Adana Flavor Festival operates under the 'zero waste' slogan. As you know, we in Adana are people who eat plenty of greens alongside kebab, with generous hearts and eyes. As Adana residents, we are delighted to serve our guests.
