Teknikum Rubber Hoses

Teknikum rubber hoses are used in food, chemical, construction, mining and machinery industries. Whether for simple applications such as wash hoses or heavy-duty operations such as mud transfer and pipeline applications, these hoses offer significant advantages in engineering, operation and maintenance. The rubber hose connection point can be easily secured to the process. The kinetic energy from pumping the transferred material, which causes vibration and wear, is absorbed by the rubber hose. This extends hose service life and lengthens maintenance intervals.

Chemical Hoses

Teknikum suction and discharge hoses are suitable for transferring all substances including industrial chemicals, fuels, oils, natural gas, corrosive materials and solvents. TEKNIKUM® Rubber Mill Linings

Teknikum® Rubber Mill Linings are manufactured from wear-resistant rubber material. Rubber materials have been developed for all mill applications, particularly mining operations. Rubber mill linings are specially molded and manufactured to suit the operation's existing mills and process conditions. Rubber composition, thickness and dimensions are selected according to process parameters. To ensure optimal performance, linings can be selected as entirely rubber or as a combination of steel-rubber linings. Rubber mill linings offer significant advantages due to excellent wear resistance, being much lighter than steel, and providing easy installation and removal.

Aler-Tek 2.0

Aler-Tek 2.0 enables monitoring of wear and deterioration in the inner lining of a hose through Teknikum industrial hose applications. The Aler-Tek 2.0 system includes a customized hose for each user and an Aler-Tek 2.0 monitor/control device. The device takes measurements every hour and provides a light warning when the defined wear and deterioration threshold is reached. Apart from automatic measurements every hour, measurements can be taken at any time by pressing a button on the device. Depending on hose structure, wear and deterioration can be monitored at multiple points along the hose. Aler-Tek 2.0 Benefits: Safety: Hose failure is prevented.
