Valmet and Novatech Automation Partnership

Valmet Acquires Process Solutions Business of NovaTech Automation Valmet has signed an agreement to acquire the Process Solutions business of US-based NovaTech Automation. The transaction value will not be disclosed. The acquisition is expected to be completed no earlier than 1 January 2023. NovaTech Automation's Process Solutions business specializes in process control and optimization solutions for batch, continuous and hybrid processes. The Process Solutions business unit has annual revenue of approximately USD 18 million and employs more than 90 people in the United States and Benelux countries. The acquisition is aligned with Valmet's strategy and will further strengthen Valmet's recurring stable automation business with a reliable distributed control system (DCS). It also expands Valmet's automation systems business footprint in the United States, particularly into new industries including food and beverage, pharmaceuticals and chemical products. Source
