Machina Labs Secures $32 Million in Funding
Machina Labs, which combines artificial intelligence and robotic technologies to rapidly manufacture advanced composite and metal products, announced completion of its USD 32 million Series B investment.
The funding round was jointly led by NVentures, the venture capital arm of NVIDIA, and existing investor Innovation Endeavors, with contributions from current and new investors.
This latest financing brings the total funds raised by Machina Labs to USD 45 million. The investment will be used to meet increasing demand from customers, intensify research initiatives, and continue to deliver innovative solutions that exceed customer expectations.
Edward Mehr, CEO and co-founder of Machina Labs, said: "With their deep track record in artificial intelligence and high-performance computing, we eagerly await NVIDIA's support as we further develop our artificial intelligence and simulation capabilities. We are also excited to see our current partner Innovation Endeavors continuing to support our vision.
This Series B financing underscores the transformative potential of combining robotics and artificial intelligence. With this support, we are prepared to develop next-generation manufacturing floors that can be easily reconfigured through software alone, requiring only software changes without hardware or tooling modifications.
With Machina Labs, factories no longer need to be locked into specific products; they can be configured through software to enable on-demand manufacturing and unlock innovation in production. Leveraging cutting-edge artificial intelligence and robotic technologies, Machina Labs can produce fully finished metal products within days, providing customers with unprecedented time to market and competitive advantage.
