İzocam Receives 'Safety Diamond' Award

Izocam Wins 'Safety Diamond' Award Izocam, among the winners of the "EHS Awards" held on the international stage, has been awarded the "Safety Diamond" in the "Occupational Safety Culture Transformation" category. Izocam has made its environment, occupational health and safety (EHS) efforts, carried out under the slogan "Safety starts with you!", an integral part of its corporate operations, and has crowned its achievements in this field with an award received on the international stage. Within the framework of the Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Awards (EHS Awards), organised annually by Saint-Gobain and presented through selections by an international jury, Izocam has been awarded the "Safety Diamond" in the "Safety Cultural Transformation" category.  

Izocam General Manager Murat Savcı, expressing great pride and joy at winning the "Safety Diamond" award, made the following statements on the subject:

"This award, which is the fruit of the careful and focused work of all team members who are part of the Izocam family, is also a special source of pride for me. The work we have done since my first day in office, the change and transformation we have initiated, and the steps we have taken as a team while maintaining environmental, occupational health and safety awareness at the highest level have been reflected in our results, and today we have achieved this excellent outcome by reducing our environmental, occupational health and safety risks to much lower levels compared to previous years. Due to this excellent achievement and the award bestowed upon us, I sincerely congratulate all our team members, and especially all our facility employees who have realised this cultural transformation through their careful and meticulous work. With the responsibility of this award, we will continue our careful and meticulous efforts even more strongly to ensure positive developments in environmental, occupational health and safety matters and to create a sustainable EHS culture. We aim to become a sustainable company

Thus we keep environmental, occupational health and safety always on our employees' agenda. We celebrate Occupational Health and Safety Week every May and Environment Week every June with our internal and external communication activities; we operate with the mission of keeping environmental, occupational health and safety on the agenda not only of our employees but also of our customers and stakeholders. Furthermore, as Izocam, since 1999 we have implemented the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and, certified with OHSAS 18001 in 2001 and continuing with ISO 45001 in 2021, our Occupational Health and Safety Management System at all our facilities.
