GRİZU-263A Satellite's Metal Frame Manufactured by TTK

Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEÜ) Engineering Faculty students from the Grizu-263 Space Team developed the Grizu-263A satellite, which was launched into orbit via SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from the United States. The space-resistant metal frame of the satellite was manufactured at the Mining Machinery Factory (MMF), formerly known as Central Workshops, affiliated with Turkey Hard Coal Enterprise (TTK). The Grizu-263 Space Team visited MMF and thanked the MMF Operations Management and CNC team for their support in the production of the Grizu-263A satellite, presenting a model of the satellite as a gift. The satellite, named Grizu-263 in commemoration of 263 mining martyrs who lost their lives in the disaster that occurred at Kozlu Mine on 3 March 1992, bears the logos of the Grizu-263 Space Team, Bülent Ecevit University (BEÜ), Erdemir, and the Mining Machinery Factory.

Became One of the Institutions That Wrote Its Name in Space

MMF, which attracted attention with its successful work, became one of the institutions that wrote its name in space by contributing to the production of the Grizu-263A satellite. TTK Mining Machinery Factory has achieved notable successes in recent times. TTK MMF, which manufactures and delivers electric motors required by BOTAS, has made significant contributions to TTK and the country's economy by producing explosion-proof ATEX products worth thousands of dollars as well as semi-mechanized and fully mechanized systems. TTK MMF continues production to contribute to the country's economy, and discussions are underway between TTK MMF and the Military Chemistry Industry Institution (MKEK) for the production of weapons components.   Source
