Graco Husky Air and Electric Diaphragm Pumps from Sisdoz Air Operated Diaphragm Pumps (AODP) are nowadays widely used for the transfer, circulation and low-precision dosing applications of the most challenging and abrasive fluids, including pure acids, treatment and ceramic slurries, chemical solutions, oils, fuels, solvents, alcohol derivatives, food and pharmaceutical raw materials, as well as in spray gun feeding applications for paint coating. Positive displacement air diaphragm pumps are increasingly preferred due to their simple and reliable construction, ease of use and maintenance, and low investment and operating costs. Electric diaphragm pumps with the same characteristics as air diaphragm pumps, but with reduced energy costs, quiet and effective operation, have now been added to the Graco Husky product range.

General Specifications

Graco Husky air or electric-driven diaphragm pumps have an average suction depth of 5.5 m dry, 9 m with liquid, and a maximum fluid discharge pressure of 8.4 bar. Pump models feature a wide product range from ¼"–19 l/min to 3"–1130 l/min depending on inlet-outlet and capacity specifications. Material alternatives for fluid-contact components are: • For body: 316 stainless steel, aluminium, cast iron, polypropylene, acetal, PVDF, PTFE, PE. • For internal components: Teflon, Viton, Santopren, Hytrel, NBR, Geolast. Advantages: • Explosion-proof alternatives are possible in both electric and air-driven versions. • No expendable materials such as shafts, couplings, felt, etc. • No risk of damage in case of dry operation. • Pump stops automatically without damage when the discharge line is closed. • Air feed pressure can be adjusted via regulator to operate at different flow and pressure ranges; electric models feature integrated frequency inverter. • No tight-fitting, sliding or rotating parts. • Disassembly and assembly, maintenance are very easy. • Maintenance costs and spare part prices are low. • Contains no seals, felt, etc., except for diaphragm, ball valves and bearings. • Can operate at temperatures up to 100 degrees. • Portable applications possible due to small, compact design. • Highly viscous fluid products and high-solids-content liquids can be transferred.
