FANUC Academy, which brings together more than 10,000 people annually worldwide for training under specific topics in robotics and CNC, enables more conscious product use. The Academy, which began operations in Turkey in 2012, provided training to more than 300 personnel in 2022 and will soon offer training in the Robomachine area. FANUC Academy offers training opportunities for all levels and needs

FANUC Turkey General Manager Teoman Alper Yiğit, emphasizing that factory workers today must possess a certain skill level to operate machinery or robots, states: "Since our customers' demands change, factory production must be adapted according to advanced technologies and production methods for new parts. At our FANUC academies in Europe, we provide training to more than 10,000 people annually on machinery and robot use and programming, and we have been offering training in Turkey since 2012. In 2022, we provided training to a total of more than 300 people. Through training we deliver to small groups with experienced instructors, we encourage personalized, rapid and effective learning, always remaining accessible and responsive to needs. Our training covers all levels, ranging from introductory courses for beginners to customized courses addressing the special applications and requirements of more experienced personnel. Thus, through training delivered by technical engineers, we significantly reduce the risk of programming errors or misuse, thereby increasing efficiency," he stated.

Robomachine training launching soon

Noting that FANUC Academy training is divided into different categories according to current needs, Yiğit continued: "Among our training programs that bring relevant personnel in companies to a certain level in the areas of using and programming robot and CNC products and identifying problems related to malfunctions, robot and CNC are included. Robot training includes training courses for the use, programming and maintenance of our industrial robots, while CNC training includes training courses for the use, programming and maintenance of CNC control units. Additionally, Robomachine training for the operation and maintenance of our ROBODRILL, ROBOCUT and ROBOSHOT machines will launch shortly.
