EOSB Signs Contract with Midsoft Yazılım Donanım for Digital Transformation Center
Action has been taken to establish a Digital Transformation Center in Eskişehir Organize Sanayi Bölgesi. A signing ceremony was held for the establishment of the center, and a contract was signed with Midsoft Yazılım Donanım LTD. ŞTİ. Eskişehir OSB Chairman of the Board of Management Nadir Küpeli, Regional Director Erhan Tatar, OSB Environment Unit Head Suzan Eroğlu Önpeker, and Midsoft Yazılım Donanım Founder Taşkın Akkurt attended the ceremony. The Digital Transformation Center will serve not only companies in EOSB but also in SME-OSB, and will accelerate digital transformation by integrating with industrial enterprises. Eskişehir OSB Chairman Nadir Küpeli made a statement on the matter. Küpeli stated: "We are aware that the path for industrial enterprises within Eskişehir OSB leads from controlling resource utilization to establishing a traceable system that increases productivity. To achieve all these goals, we are developing strategies to enable digital transformation of enterprises. With this center that we will put into operation, we will provide seamless and rapid services. Our most important priority is to establish ourselves as a center where knowledge and technology are produced and shared, to adapt to rapidly evolving digital technologies and to meet the needs of our companies in this field," he said. Will Accelerate Digital Transformation of Industrial Enterprises through Integration
Küpeli shared information about the center to be established. Küpeli stated: "The Digital Transformation Center project, which we submitted as Eskişehir OSB under the Bursa Eskişehir Bilecik Development Agency 2021 Innovation and Productivity Financial Support Program and which will accelerate the integrated digital transformation of industrial enterprises, has been approved. Within the scope of the project, we signed a contract with Midsoft Yazılım Donanım company for the procurement, assembly and installation of the Digital Transformation Center's hardware and software. Within the scope of the project to be implemented, an "LPWAN Low Power Wide Area Network" wireless communication network, which is an innovative technology that will cover our organized industrial zone and can be used jointly by all enterprises, and a software layer that will manage this system will be established. Twenty-five devices, referred to as network gateways, will be used to establish an LPWAN wireless communication network covering the entire Eskişehir Organize Sanayi Bölgesi, which has an area of 31.1 million square meters. The LoRaWAN communication protocol will be preferred in communication between devices," he said.Initial Applications Will be Implemented by Eskişehir OSB
Chairman Küpeli concluded: "The initial applications of the platform to be created will be implemented by Eskişehir OSB within the scope of the project. Additionally, remote meter reading activities are planned to be carried out in the 1st and 2nd SME-OSB. The 100 companies in the 1st SME-OSB that will participate in pilot studies will be the first users of the project with a system through which they can monitor their energy consumption data. Detailed work will be carried out on remote meter reading, data evaluation, interpretation, and directing energy efficiency efforts. Data obtained will be shared numerically," he said.Work and Production Data of Machines Can Be Monitored Remotely Through Sensors
Noting that many digitalization applications will be launched primarily within EOSB following the completion of the project, Küpeli stated: "In a period when energy is becoming increasingly costly, with this project, complete remote reading of meters, coordination of energy supply through energy consumption analyses, provision of infrastructure opportunities for companies to conduct energy efficiency work, companies will be able to track both their vehicles and transported goods through sensors they will place on their vehicles within the OSB, and through sensors placed on their production lines or machines they will have the opportunity to remotely monitor their machines' operational and production data, and additionally projects will be launched under many sub-headings such as training and consulting services," he continued.Advertisement
