Autonomous Capability Added to Industrial Vehicles with AVT
AVT Brings Autonomous Capability to Industrial Vehicles
ZGN Otonom ve Robotik, a domestic startup providing technological solutions to numerous companies in Turkey and worldwide, has developed a wearable AVT Autonomous Operation System that enables industrial vehicles to operate unmanned within seven days.
Within the framework of industrial digital transformation, the acceleration of manufacturing areas' integration with artificial intelligence technologies is directing companies toward autonomous systems.
Autonomous systems offer numerous advantages in terms of efficiency, continuity and reliability. They also create opportunities to deploy human resources more effectively in other areas and avoid wasting time on routine tasks.

Özgün Yabalak, Chief Executive Officer of ZGN Otonom ve Robotik, states that with the AVT Autonomous Operation System, industrial vehicles used in manufacturing can provide companies with fast and effective solutions in every required area. He offered the following remarks on the subject:
"The AVT Autonomous Operation System developed by the ZGN team possesses many superior features compared to its alternatives. The characteristics of AVT were determined based entirely on the sector's needs, demands and expectations, designed to have the broadest possible application. The AVT System grants autonomous operation capability to any manual electric industrial vehicle, regardless of brand, model or type, within one week. Depending on the severity of field conditions, it enables full-capacity field operations with your autonomous vehicle within a maximum of two months. In this respect, it is significantly ahead of its competitors in the sector. The AVT Autonomous Conversion System is a wearable technology. It enables all features and capabilities of the vehicle it is installed on to be used in autonomous operations. The system is independent of vehicle brand, model and type. This allows the system to be transferred to vehicles of different brands, models and types. For example, you can remove the AVT Autonomous Conversion System installed on a stacker and transfer it to a forklift where you see a larger opportunity, activating it within hours. The AVT Autonomous Conversion System, due to its wearable, portable and modular structure, involves no mechanical, electronic or software intervention whatsoever on the vehicle's factory-installed equipment. Through this feature, since it does not create any conditions contrary to warranty scope and terms, it has gained acceptance for application to vehicles with active warranties and/or rental equipment. The AVT Autonomous Conversion System is installed as an additional capability on manual industrial vehicles. This allows the industrial vehicle to be used both manually and autonomously. It prevents any reduction in vehicle capacity utilization in the event of an autonomous system malfunction or similar situation. Depending on your preference, you can switch the vehicle to manual/autonomous mode at any time with the press of a button and operate it accordingly. In summary, the modular and wearable design of the system, being a completely independent system rather than vehicle-specific, has established AVT as a pioneering solution in the sector."Advertisement
