Focus Group Meeting Held for the 3rd Process Safety Symposium and Exhibition

A focus group meeting was held to prepare the scientific infrastructure for the 3rd Process Safety Symposium and Exhibition organised by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kocaeli on 10-11 May 2022. During the meeting where technical details were discussed, the date of the next meeting was also set. The symposium, whose preparations are proceeding at full pace, will be held at Technology Valley under the coordination of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kocaeli and organised by Chem Media. The 3rd Process Safety Symposium and Exhibition, which will address topics including SEVESO III Directive, ATEX Directive, Pressure Equipment/Apparatus, CLP Regulation/SEA Regulation, REACH Regulation/KKDİK Regulation and the Impact of Digital Transformation in Industry on Process Safety, will be broadcast live on the Turkchem TV YouTube channel and exhibition entries will continue in virtual format for one month. Particularly in facilities containing hazardous substances, measures that need to be taken to prevent major industrial accidents and minimise the damage of potential accidents to people and the environment will be addressed by leading experts in the sector. At the same time, national and international regulators, inspectors, sector professionals, academics, product and service developers and certification bodies will share their knowledge and experience with participants through presentations and panels. In addition, regulations, practical applications, technical knowledge, research and development, products and services related to the measures that need to be taken to ensure effective and continuous protection will be transferred to the sector. In line with all these, the symposium will bring together companies offering products, services and consultancy with visitors, providing the opportunity to learn about new products and technologies, establish new business connections and bring potential customers together.
