Woodbridge Opens Two New Facilities in China

The Woodbridge (Changzhou) Components JV facility located in Jiangsu Province, China, encompasses an area of 5,000 square metres.

Woodbridge celebrated the opening of two advanced technology joint venture (JV) production facilities in China with a grand ceremony. These facilities are designed to produce a wide range of high-quality products to meet the needs of various manufacturers in the region. This represents a significant milestone in Woodbridge's commitment to delivering innovative solutions and meeting the evolving needs of its customers.

Guangzhou Woodbridge Automotive Components Co., Ltd. is located in Guangdong Province, China. The joint venture facility encompasses an area of 13,000 square metres and features two moulded foam production lines specifically designed for light and commercial vehicles. Production began on 15 May 2025. The facility employs approximately 250 workers and relocated from the Huadu Region to be closer to customers.
A JV facility located in Jiangsu Province, China, Woodbridge (Changzhou) Components Co. Ltd, encompasses an area of 5,000 square metres. Production began on 16 May 2025. The facility produces moulded foam to support Woodbridge's regional original equipment manufacturers and production is expected to increase in the coming months as new customers are acquired. The facility employs 60 workers.

The opening event was attended by Kai Jacobsen, President and Chief Executive Officer of Woodbridge; Julie Correia, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer; Mike Irwin, Senior Vice President, Technology and Innovation; Bill Drury, Vice President Asia; JV partners; employees and distinguished guests.
