Rock West Composites Acquires Performance Plastics Assets Rock West Composites (RWC) announced the acquisition of the assets of Performance Plastics, Inc. (PPI). This strategic move aims to expand RWC's product range and target markets that complement existing business areas while using similar materials and manufacturing methods. The new personnel and facilities will add metallic manufacturing, processing, shaping and adhesive capabilities to RWC's technical expertise. PPI offers significant business opportunities through customer process specification approvals and long-term supply agreements with multiple prime contractors. PPI's team comprises 80 people with diverse and complementary skills. With this team becoming part of RWC, the company's headcount will reach 360 employees. RWC CEO Jim Gormican stated, "We are very excited about adding PPI's people, talent and capacity to Rock West.
