Recticel Introduces New Polyurethane Insulation Solutions Recticel is launching a new series of polyurethane insulation boards containing 25% bio-circular raw materials, calculated according to the Mass Balance principle. The new Impact series delivers equivalent technical high insulation performance while reducing CO2 emissions by an average of 43%1 compared to standard boards. These new products represent an important element of Recticel's proactive approach to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050, in line with SBTi 2 commitments. The transition to full circularity in raw material sourcing in the construction sector is highly important. The Mass Balance method enables gradual transformation by mixing fossil and renewable raw materials in existing systems and linking bio-circular raw materials through certification to specific end products. Recticel's new Impact insulation boards comply with International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) standards, an initiative that ensures traceability of raw materials and environmentally responsible production.
