Perstorp Launches Two Renewable-Based Polyols
Perstorp Launches Two Polyols With 100% Renewable Base and Negative Carbon Footprint
Leading specialty chemicals manufacturer Perstorp has introduced new grades for two base polyols currently available with 100% renewable content and mass-balanced carbon composition.
When the biogenic CO2 uptake of renewable raw materials is included, the products will have a negative carbon footprint. Based on a traceable mass balance concept, Neeture™ N100 (neopentyl glycol) and Evyron™ T100 (trimethylolpropane) are designed to reduce the carbon footprint across the value chain while supporting the sustainable sourcing of renewable and recyclable raw materials.
