Kimpur and Ravago Petrokimya A.Ş. sign major cooperation agreement

Kimpur has signed a cooperation agreement with Ravago Petrokimya A.Ş. Under this cooperation, 'Ravapol brand polyurethane systems' previously produced at Ravago facilities will now be manufactured and marketed at Kimpur facilities. Strengthening its position in the region through its Gebze Production Facility with 141,000 tons of capacity in Turkey and its Düzce Production Facility with 30,000 tons of capacity that began operations in July 2024, as well as its 25,000-ton capacity affiliate in Europe, Kimpur aims to strengthen its global position through its cooperation with Ravago Petrokimya A.Ş. Under this cooperation, Ravapol brand polyurethane systems will now be produced and marketed at Kimpur facilities. Through this strategic cooperation with Ravago Petrokimya A.Ş, Ravago's polyurethane machinery will be relocated to Kimpur's Düzce facility, creating an additional 85,000 tons of capacity. With this additional capacity, Kimpur Group will move one step closer to its goal of reaching the world's top 10 production capacities in its sector, with a total capacity of 280,000 tons—255,000 tons at its facilities in Turkey and 25,000 tons at its facility in Latvia. Kimpur CEO Cavidan Karaca commented on the cooperation. Highlighting the strategic importance of the cooperation, Karaca stated: "Our international companies established in the United States, Germany and the United Kingdom, and our expanded export portfolio will be further strengthened through this new cooperation. This cooperation will solidify our presence in global markets, enabling us to reach more consumers worldwide and expand our current product portfolio."
