Kimpur Climbs 71 Positions in Ranking Kimpur advances significantly in TİM's Top 1000 Exporters List Kimpur, Turkey's first 100 percent domestically produced polyurethane system manufacturer, climbed 71 positions in the "Turkey's Largest 1000 Exporting Companies Survey – 2021" list announced annually by the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM). The company drew attention by increasing its exports by 48.9 percent year-on-year while developing customized solutions for its customers through R&D investments. Kimpur, which ranks among Turkey's Top 500 Industrial Establishments, has secured its place once again in the list of Turkey's top 1000 exporters published by TİM. Since 2016, Kimpur has participated in the survey and advanced 71 positions compared to 2020, ranking 568th in the overall standings and 55th in the Chemicals and Chemical Products sector, adding another achievement to its record. Kimpur Chief Executive Officer Cavidan Karaca commented on the matter: "According to data published by the Turkish Exporters Assembly, the chemical sector was the second-largest exporting sector in 2021. As a chemical industry company exporting to more than 45 countries, we are leading our sector. We are very pleased to achieve significant success in such important lists and have these accomplishments recognized with awards." Karaca emphasized that despite the pandemic and accompanying global challenges in recent years, they increased their 2021 exports by approximately 49 percent, stating: "With our investments and competitive advantage-offering R&D projects, we are continuing our efforts at full speed to increase our export-focused growth." Exporting nearly 30 percent of its products to more than 45 countries, Kimpur aims to elevate its current export rate further this year through its overseas investments, strategic partnerships, and high-value-added products developed within its R&D projects. According to data announced in April by İKMİB (Istanbul Chemical and Chemical Products Exporters Association), Kimpur ranked among the top 10 companies in the Plastic Raw Materials Export Category and announced last April that it had acquired 75 percent of Kimpur Europe, based in Latvia, signaling its growth ambitions in the European market.
