HP and BASF Partner to Advance Digital Manufacturing

BASF and industrial 3D printing solutions specialist HP have announced an expansion of their strategic partnership to advance digital manufacturing. The companies are working closely with the automotive, consumer, medical and industrial production sectors to create new market opportunities, develop best-in-class practices jointly, and achieve distinctive quality, cost-effectiveness and more sustainable production. At the center of the expanded collaboration is the launch of polypropylene (PP), a first-of-its-kind material for additive manufacturing. HP 3D High Recyclability PP, supplied by BASF, has been developed and qualified for HP's Jet Fusion 5200 Series 3D printing solution to enable companies across industries to design and manufacture 3D printed parts faster, more cost-effectively, more sustainably and in higher volumes than ever before.
