Dow Expands Polyurethane Systems Houses Network in India with New Facilities

The expansion of the network to further support customer growth through customized solutions and technological innovation was determined based on local market needs. Dow Polyurethanes, a business unit of Dow Chemical, announced the opening of a new system house in Maharashtra state in India. Through this, Dow has further expanded its strong production, development and technical service network currently operating at 20 different locations across the EMEAI region. The new facility, established in the Parshuram industrial zone in Ratnagiri Lote in Maharashtra state, provides high-quality polyurethane materials and tailored solutions to customers in the region, delivering additional production capacity and technical capabilities while serving growing markets such as durable consumer goods, infrastructure and automotive. Following the Dow India Technology Centre (DITC) launched in Navi Mumbai, which houses a polyurethane applications development laboratory designed to accelerate innovation and customer collaboration, the opening of the new system house in Lote takes Dow's investments in the region further forward. Jon Penrice, Vice President of Dow Polyurethanes, said, "Dow's innovation and growth strategy focuses on providing our customers with competitive advantage and preparing them for tomorrow's challenges."
