Covestro aims to meet rising customer demand for specialized polycarbonate materials. Covestro is making a three-digit million-euro investment to expand its facility in Hebron, Ohio.
This capacity increase will establish multiple new production lines and infrastructure for manufacturing specialized polycarbonate compounds and blends, and will significantly raise capacity in the Solutions/Specialties business unit for the Americas market. The investment represents an important step in meeting growing demand for high-quality materials from the automotive, electronics and healthcare sectors in North America.
