STAR Rafineri and SOCAR Receive Star of Exports Award

STAR Refinery and SOCAR Win Export Star Award In the 2021 Export Star Awards presented by the Istanbul Chemical Substances and Products Exporters Association, SOCAR Turkey group company SOCAR STAR Refinery and SOCAR Oil Trading ranked in the top two positions in the Mineral Fuels category. STAR Refinery and SOCAR Oil Trading, subsidiaries of SOCAR Turkey, one of Turkey's largest direct foreign investors, won two awards in the 2021 Export Star Awards presented by the Istanbul Chemical Substances and Products Exporters Association (İKMİB). SOCAR Oil Trading placed first in the Mineral Fuels category, while STAR Refinery placed second. The brand strengthened its leading position in the export majors league by securing the top two spots with its two group companies.

Production Continued Uninterrupted Thanks to Integrated Structure

According to the statement released, although business practices changed in 2021 with the pandemic, SOCAR Turkey group companies continued to achieve successful results. Thanks to the integrated structure of STAR Refinery and Petkim, production and sales continued uninterrupted without losing momentum. These companies continued to support direct exports as well as domestic exporters and manufacturers throughout these challenging years.
