SOCAR and Siemens Sign Cooperation Agreement
SOCAR Türkiye and Siemens Türkiye signed a cooperation agreement for the supply of main electrical distribution infrastructure at a signing ceremony held at SOCAR Türkiye's Izmir - Aliağa facilities.
SOCAR Türkiye, which operates the activities of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic SOCAR in Turkey, and Siemens Türkiye signed an agreement. Under this agreement, the two companies will cooperate on main electrical infrastructure for a period of 5 years.
Cooperation in Energy Distribution Infrastructure Supply
SOCAR Türkiye and Siemens Türkiye signed a cooperation agreement. The agreement was signed at a ceremony held at SOCAR Türkiye's Izmir - Aliağa facilities. Under this agreement, Siemens Türkiye will undertake the installation and renewal of all energy distribution infrastructure and SCADA systems of STAR Refinery, SOCAR Storage and Petkim Petrochemistry Holding under the SOCAR Türkiye Refinery and Petrochemistry Business Unit for a period of 5 years.We Will Contribute With Our Technology Capabilities and Expertise
Statements regarding the matter were made at the signing ceremony held at SOCAR Türkiye's Izmir - Aliağa facilities. Hüseyin Gelis, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Siemens Türkiye, made the following statement: "As a company, we are working to accelerate industries' digital transformation journeys with our principle of 'Transforming Today for Tomorrow'. Anar Mammadov, Head of SOCAR Türkiye Refinery and Petrochemistry Business Unit and General Manager of Petkim, made statements regarding the agreement. Noting that the cooperation they have achieved will bring the digital transformation efforts covering all group companies to a more effective level, Mammadov said: "We understand the impact of digitalization in determining how the new world does business, and we attach great importance to integrating our infrastructure with innovative digital solutions offered by evolving technology. With the infrastructure support that Siemens will provide in our digitalization efforts that expand our value-added areas for efficient and sustainable production, we will now move forward more strongly," he said.
