SOCAR Türkiye’s Subsidiaries Receive Certification

SOCAR Turkey's subsidiaries received the Health Ministry Public Health Directorate's Nutrition-Friendly and Physical Activity Supporting Workplace Certificate. SOCAR Turkey's subsidiaries Petkim, STAR Refinery and SOCAR Storage received the Health Ministry Public Health Directorate's Nutrition-Friendly and Physical Activity Supporting Workplace Certificate. The companies, which completed field inspections by Izmir Provincial Health Directorate last week, achieved full marks and became the third company for SOCAR Turkey to obtain this certificate in Turkey. The companies' certificates were presented by Aliağa District Governor Ömer Karaman, Izmir Provincial Health Directorate Public Health Services Head Specialist Dr. Ali Emre Çetinkol and Aliağa District Health Director Dr. Özkan Orhun. The company prioritizes employee health in accordance with SOCAR Aims For Efficiency - SAFE (SOCAR Verimliliği Hedefler) principles. The company's receipt of the Nutrition-Friendly and Physical Activity Supporting Workplace Certificate, carried out by the Health Ministry Public Health Directorate, which aims to promote healthy nutrition and physical activity among workplace employees, thereby supporting productivity at work and healthy living in society, was attributed to participation in Wings for Life Izmir Run, SOCAR Aliağa Olympics, 41st Istanbul Marathon, Granfondo Izmir Race and running events organized for Cerebral Palsy Turkey, online sports exercises and yoga training conducted by professional sports trainers, access to sports through tennis courts, football and basketball courts, 5 indoor sports halls, variety in meal menus at facilities, monitoring and assurance of appropriate calorie values by specialist dietitians and food engineers, suitable menus for employees with special dietary needs, food hygiene safety assurance, on-site and online dietitian services to promote healthy living, and an online psychological support line.   Source
