Digitalization Services for Petrochemical Facility Lummus Technology, a global process technologies and value-driven energy solutions provider, announced that it has won a tender from Zhangzhou CHIMEI Chemical Co. Ltd. for digitalization services at a petrochemical facility in Gulei, Fujian Province, China. Lummus will provide digitalization services to CHIMEI for the diphenyl carbonate (DPC) unit, including training and process simulation. In 2021, Lummus won the license and basic engineering tender for the same unit. Upon completion, the unit will have a production capacity of 156,000 mt DPC per year. Lummus' O3S™ offering is part of a broad range of training and digitalization services that the company provides to license holders to meet specific and individual requirements. These services include hands-on opportunities to simulate facility operations. These enable operational teams to run the facility more safely and productively, resulting in better performance, higher efficiency and less waste.   Source
