The chemical composition of Parteck® SLC is silica (SiO2). Silica is an amorphous substance with monograph compliance (USP, Ph Eur) and has been used in oral formulations for years. By using Parteck® SLC as a new formulation tool, you can reformulate many drug molecules and thereby provide a solution for lifecycle management of products with expired patents. For drug delivery, Parteck® SLC increases the bioavailability of the active ingredient by providing maximum loading for maximum release.

Parteck® SLC offers easy handling for loading, tableting or capsule formation due to its user-friendly particle size (5-25 μm) and bulk density (0.32 g/mL). Active ingredient-loaded Parteck® SLC can be easily formulated with suitable excipients to obtain stable and fast-acting tablets. Parteck® SLC enables very high active ingredient loading that provides appropriate size and weight of the final tablet. The dissolution performance of the loaded granule is not compromised from compression through to the final tablet.
