Biocare Medical, a leading supplier in the immunohistochemistry sector, has introduced its latest innovation: ARC (Antigen Retrieval Chamber). The addition of ARC to Biocare Medical's automation portfolio expands the company's portfolio of decloaking systems built for consistent, reliable heat-induced epitope retrieval. Designed specifically for in vitro diagnostic (IVD) labeling and Heat-Induced Epitope Retrieval (HIER), ARC delivers sensitivity and consistency. Recognizing the need for proper heat, pressure and buffer solutions, ARC is vital for reliable immunohistochemistry (IHC) and in situ hybridization (ISH) staining. ARC can incubate 72 standard slides or 27 dual wide slides per batch and can be adjusted between 60 - 121°C, making the solution ideal for clinical, research and prion applications.

Optimized for Reliable, Precise and Consistent Antibody Staining

Antibody staining is made easy and standardized with ARC, which meets laboratory safety standards and quality control requirements through built-in memory. ARC provides proper time, temperature and pressure - each category is carefully monitored and recorded, ensuring consistent staining results. Beyond delivering sensitivity and consistency, ARC facilitates easy navigation through its extensive feature set with a user-friendly touchscreen interface. Users can select from 6 pre-set protocols or design custom protocols as needed. Temperature can be programmed in 1°C increments and time settings can be adjusted down to hours, minutes and seconds, providing a fully customizable experience for laboratory professionals. ARC offers an industry-specific feature: the ability to hold up to 27 dual wide slides, enabling larger tissue samples. Standard and dual wide slide carriers provide end users with maximum flexibility for various tissue types and sizes. ARC slide carriers are specially manufactured for unique durability, providing resistance at the higher HIER temperatures required by laboratories.
