Ak-Kim Kimya Receives "Covid-19 Safe Production Certificate"
"People First" initiative puts worker health first as Ak-Kim Kimya passes TSE inspection.
Ak-Kim Kimya, Turkey's leading chemical substances producer, has passed inspection by the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE) at its production facilities in Yalova with a perfect score. Experts who reviewed coronavirus prevention measures at the facilities certified Ak-Kim's prioritisation of worker health. Following the inspection, Ak-Kim received a "Covid-19 Safe Production Certificate."
Adhering to precautions throughout the pandemic without interrupting production, Ak-Kim manufactures raw materials for numerous hygiene products ranging from bleach and detergents to hand and bath soaps and disinfectants.
"All measures implemented at the highest level"
Ak-Kim General Manager Onur Kipri stated that they have prepared a regularly updated return-to-normal plan, adding: "Measures concerning worker and public health continue at the Ak-Kim plant.
To manage concerns of our employees and their immediate family members during this period, we added new support tools to the psychological support line we launched in April. Throughout the entire process from when our colleagues leave home until they return, and in all living spaces, all necessary measures are applied meticulously.
At our regularly disinfected factories, we maintain social distancing, mask-wearing and hygiene compliance at the highest level. The 'Covid-19 Safe Production Certificate' is highly valuable as it demonstrates our measures are effective."
