Two Next-Generation Projects Receive TÜBİTAK Support Bomaksan, the first brand in its sector to receive TÜBİTAK support through R&D projects, stands out with its digital investments in the HVAC (heating-cooling-ventilation) sector. The brand, which designs systems to make the world more livable, recently received support for 2 additional projects in its application to TÜBİTAK. Through these projects, embedded system software enables remote monitoring and control, while aiming to prevent fires and explosions resulting from contact between highly flammable oil vapor and sparks.

Aiming to Achieve Industry 4.0 Compliance

Bomaksan continues its R&D efforts without slowing down in dust collection, having previously received support from the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK). Most recently, the brand, which focuses on increasing its effectiveness in the sector and values digitalization, aims to achieve Industry 4.0 compliance and keep pace with rapidly changing technology by developing electronic boards and mobile applications. The brand has successfully obtained renewed TÜBİTAK support for projects titled "development of mobile filtration equipment designed for dust and smoke applications" and "development of automatic dosing equipment for dust collection filtration systems." While facilitating remote control of the equipment, the brand prevents any fire risk and improves clean air quality. Evaluating the two R&D projects' approval for TÜBİTAK support, Bomaksan Marketing Director Burak Boysan stated: "Our 2 projects submitted to the TÜBİTAK 1507 - SME R&D Start-up Support Program have been approved. We continue our work on the remaining 3 projects without interruption. We will manage these two projects effectively and achieve the goals we aim for. In line with our goal of creating 'Next-Generation Solutions,' which is among our main strategies, we will continue our R&D work on technology and continue to add new-generation capabilities and functions to our systems."

Remote Monitoring and Control Will Be Provided

With its mobile filtration equipment project designed for dust and smoke applications, Bomaksan aims to provide clean air, a basic human need, much more efficiently. The project focuses on the DUFİL PRO Filtration Equipment's ability to draw dirty air from the source, very close to the point of emission, without allowing the operator to inhale harmful particles and gases. The project aims to design a fan to be used in a single device by subjecting it to necessary analyses. After filtering the dirty air and returning it to the environment, the hood-type equipment will also provide remote monitoring and control through the developed electronic board and embedded system software.

Filters Will Be Long-Lasting

The project for the development of automatic dosing equipment for dust collection filtration systems addresses fire, the greatest threat to industrial air filtration applications, through an automatic dosing device. This equipment is designed to prevent fires and explosions resulting from contact between highly flammable oil vapor and sparks. By performing the precoating process continuously and periodically, it allows the filters, the most costly part of the filter unit, to have a much longer lifespan.
