Through investments in state-of-the-art production lines, the company achieved 5-fold growth.

MG International Fragrance Company supplies fragrance compositions and raw materials to approximately 4,000 global manufacturers in 55 countries and domestically. In line with increasing demand in the fragrance sector, the company transitioned to fully automated production in 2011 and established its facility with a USD 65 million investment in the Gebze Organized Industrial Zone in 2015, where production continues today. The robotic system in the integrated facility with 28 km of piping produces over 200 fragrance formulas and 280 different raw materials simultaneously on eight different production lines using more than 4,500 raw materials. Fragrance compositions and raw materials are used to scent products by manufacturers operating in cosmetics, personal care, hygiene, household cleaning and paper products segments. At the Gebze facility employing over 300 personnel, environmentally conscious production, "employee and customer first" focused approach and efficient high-technology use ensure healthy and safe working conditions are maintained rigorously.

NEW INVESTMENT PLANNING UNDERWAY

MG International Fragrance Company Plant Manager Cevat Eracar explained that the Gebze facility was established to increase capacity with the latest technological production infrastructure and to expand the range of fragrance compositions and raw materials in the R&D Center. He noted that the 46,500 m2 facility built on 20,000 m2 of land dedicates 2,900 m2 of space to innovation, organic synthesis and research. Cevat Eracar stated that in 2017 they expanded the production line by adding 5,250 m2 of enclosed area to the facility and today increased the total facility size to over 50,000 m2, noting that fully automated production provides numerous advantages. Recording that since 2015, when production began at the Gebze facility, they have achieved 5-fold growth with the same workforce alongside innovative production line investments, Eracar said, "In parallel, we have achieved significant improvements in our delivery schedules." Emphasizing that since 2011 they have increased automation ratios in production areas through weighing automation and dosing investments and conducted modernization work, Cevat Eracar announced they have begun new investment planning: "With our customer-focused approach to provide the best service to our business partners, we are planning new investment projects covering sample preparation, finished product filling and packaging lines across the entire supply chain. We have begun feasibility studies in line with our investment plans."
