L'Oréal Group Collaborates to Advance Skin Health
L'Oréal Group has signed a strategic partnership with Verily, Alphabet's health technology company, to advance two programs aimed at better understanding skin biology and helping each consumer develop personalized skin care routines.
L'Oréal Group and Verily, Alphabet's health technology company, are entering into a strategic partnership to advance skin health. The first-of-its-kind collaboration in the beauty sector encompasses two programs designed to better understand and characterize skin and hair aging mechanisms.
The first program will leverage L'Oréal Group's scientific skin expertise and Verily's comprehensive clinical science capabilities to conduct research establishing a biological, clinical and environmental perspective on skin health. In the second program, L'Oréal Group's Active Cosmetics division and Verily's R&D team will work together to develop solutions using sensors, artificial intelligence algorithms and tele-diagnosis to address dermatological conditions.
