"We Do Not Approve of Such Procedures Being Performed by Reading Writings from Unqualified Persons" Drawing attention to the misdirection of individuals, Kartal stated, "We have patients who have been harmed after listening to individuals referred to as 'beauty experts' on television, preparing herbal oil mixtures and applying them to their faces. We observe many complications ranging from allergic reactions to sunburn. We do not approve of and do not recommend such procedures being performed after reading the statements or writings of unqualified persons."
