78 companies attended Cosmoprof Worldwide with us

The Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna trade fair was held in Italy between 21-23 March 2024. Within the scope of the national participation organization, which was held for the 15th time this year by İKMİB (İKMİB), 21 companies participated in the national pavilion, and a total of 78 Turkish companies exhibited at the fair to introduce their new products and establish new business connections. The International Cosmetics and Personal Care Fair Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, held annually in Bologna, Italy and celebrating its 55th edition this year between 21-23 March 2024, is the world's largest cosmetics trade fair with participants from over 3,000 companies representing 153 different countries and more than 253,000 visitors. The latest industry trends in the beauty sector are showcased at this leading fair. At the fair, where a total of 78 Turkish companies participated through the İKMİB national participation organization (21 companies in the national pavilion and 57 companies individually), products such as cosmetics, skincare products, perfumes and cleaning products were exhibited. Turkish brands had the opportunity to introduce the industry's new trends to the world. Board Member of İKMİB Uğur Adıyaman and Trade Attaché of the Republic of Turkey in Milan Ozan Murat Ergan visited the participating companies and conveyed their best wishes.

"Turkey's essential oils, cosmetics and soap exports grew 15 percent in 2023"

İKMİB Chairman of the Board Adil Pelister made the following remarks on the subject: "The Turkish cosmetics sector has become a rapidly growing and internationally recognized sector in recent years. Turkey's exports of essential oils, cosmetics and soap showed significant growth in 2023 and increased by 15 percent. Ranking fourth among sub-sectors, the sector achieved export sales of USD 1.9 billion last year. This year, sector exports reached USD 306.4 million in the January-February period with a growth rate exceeding 15 percent. The sector's performance shows increasing growth both globally and for our country every year. Turkey holds an important position as a player in the production and marketing of cosmetic products. As İKMİB, we continue to support our sector through various activities such as national participation fairs, trade missions, training and seminars. By participating in the world's most important trade fairs, we are introducing the Turkish cosmetics sector to the world. The Cosmoprof Worldwide fair, held annually in Italy and which we participate in each year, is a very important fair for our sector. I wish that the growing and developing Turkish cosmetics sector will benefit from a productive fair and that our participating companies will increase their exports through new business connections."
