World Medicine Ranks 3rd with 125 Brands in Türkiye R&D 500 Research

Türkiye’s pharmaceutical export champion World Medicine ranked 3rd in the overall ranking with 125 registered brands in the Türkiye R&D 500 Research, and came 2nd among companies producing the most projects with 611 R&D projects. The company’s R&D investments, intellectual property strength and innovation-focused growth strategy drew attention.
The Türkiye R&D 500 Research, which has been presenting the R&D performance, investments and progress of Turkish business in the innovation ecosystem with comprehensive data for 13 years, has concluded. In the research, which evaluates criteria such as R&D expenditures, R&D employment, number of projects and intellectual property performance, World Medicine, one of the leading companies in the pharmaceutical sector, achieved a significant success.
World Medicine ranked 3rd in the overall ranking with 125 registered brands, while the 611 projects the company carried out placed it 2nd among companies producing the most projects. The results revealed the scale of the company’s work in R&D, innovation, value-added production and intellectual property.

World Medicine Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Sohrab Mammadli stated that the research results are an important indicator of the company’s R&D and innovation-focused growth strategy.
Mammadli said that they act with the vision of positioning Türkiye not only as a production center but also as a regional and global R&D, innovation and logistics hub, and stated the following:

R&D investments supported by production and export strength

World Medicine ranked 318th in the Istanbul Chamber of Industry’s (İSO) Türkiye’s Top 500 Industrial Enterprises research. The company also ranked 477th in the Capital 500 research conducted by Capital.
Mammadli stated that these results reveal both the company’s contribution to the Turkish economy and its sustainable financial growth capacity.
Pharmaceutical exports to more than 65 countries
World Medicine, which has been operating in Türkiye since 2011, continues its work in line with innovative product development and a sustainable quality approach.
